Subject: Speakers Corner Closed.
Dear Speakers,
I hope you and your families are well . Following the Prime Ministers latest address, the Royal Parks will remain open for essential daily exercise ONLY, be that run, walk or cycle. People are permitted to exercise once a day, either alone or with members of their immediate household, but all other gatherings in all Royal Parks are banned including (Speakers Corner and outside entrances) and will be dispersed by police. Social distancing, as set out by the Government, is absolutely crucial so people must stay at least two meters apart at all times. By following these rules, we can keep London’s Parks open for everyone who needs them. I cannot emphasise enough , DO NOT COME TO SPEAKERS CORNER, STAY AT HOME, PEOPLES LIVES ARE AT RISK.
It is up to all of us collectively to adhere to the latest guidance, otherwise we will have to consider closing the parks. The situation is under constant review and hopefully we can get back to normality in the not too distant future.
Please forward this message to other Speakers Corner attendees ,If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact me .
Regards
PC Steve Barnes 299RO
